    1. Handicaps: This is a gross score event, there are no handicap adjustments. Each divisions plays heads up within the division.  There are no net score prizes or contests.
    2. Divisions/Flights: This event is comprised of four Divisions. Details for each Division are below.
    3. Tees: A Division will play from the TNT tees. B&C Divisions will play from Pick & Shovel.  D Division will play from the Coal Car tees.
    4. Ties: In the event of a tie, the USGA’s recommended tie breaker will be used (back nine score, last six holes, last three holes and last hole) using the last nine holes of the last day of competition starting with the A Flight. If no winner has been determined, the same rules will apply to the B Flight, and so on.
    5. Skins: There will be a separate Skins Game for each day. A skin is defined as the best gross score on a hole (no ties, no carryovers). The number of skins won will be divided by $300 for each day.
    6. Closest to the pin: Four closest to the pin contests will be held each day with a payout of $25 per hole. ($100 total per day)
    7. Pace of Play: Foursomes not finishing within 4 hours 30 minutes and not finishing within 15 minutes of the group in front of them will be assessed a two-stroke penalty per golfer. Each scorecard will have 4-hour 30-minute pace of play shown on the card.
    8. Electronic scoring mandatory! We ask that you designate one person in each group to update the scores for the entire group in the Golf Genius app. Both live scoring and paper scorecards are MANDATORY. Login to the app using the GGID printed on your scorecard. Scoring is simple and fast for competitors and post round scorers. Failure to utilize the app during the round will result in a two-stroke penalty for each golfer. At the end of the round, add up both 9-hole scores and the 18-hole scores for the team score. Check your scores, make sure the card is complete, signed and attested. Scorecards are considered final once turned in and will be used in the event of any discrepancies. No adjustments will be made once they are signed and turned in.
    9. Lost/OB Balls: The USGA Local Rule e5 allowing a drop as far out as the fairway for a lost or OB ball will NOT be used during this competition. Instead, you must follow the regular rules of golf and hit from the previous spot under penalty of stroke and distance. If you believe you may have hit your ball out of bounds or into an area where it could become lost, please declare, and play a provisional ball to help pace of play.
    10. Native Grass. Unless marked as a hazard, or of out of bounds, all tall grass and native areas are in play. If you look for your ball, and find it, it is in play and must played as it lies or take an unplayable lie. https://www.usga.org/content/usga/home-page/rules/rules-2019/rules-of-golf/rule- 19.html

Division SPECIFIC RULES

  1. Rules for A & B Division:
    1. Scoring: This is a stroke play event. Each golfer plays his own ball and records each stroke. Each competitor will have his own scorecard. On the first tee, exchange scorecards with someone else in your foursome and determine who will keep scores in Golf Genius. Record the gross scores for each golfer on each hole. At the end of the round, add up both 9-hole scores and the 18-hole score. Check your scores, make sure the card is complete, signed and attested. Scorecards are considered final once turned in and will be used in the event of any discrepancies. No adjustments will be made once they are signed and turned in.
    2. The A Division will play from the TNT tees. This is an individual stroke play division. The top three scores for each club on each day will count toward the team total.
    3. The B Division will play from the Pick & Shovel tees. This is an individual stroke play division. The top three scores for each club on each day will count toward the team total.
  2. Rules for C Division:
    1. Scoring: This is a 2-Man Best Ball division. Each golfer plays his own ball. The team score for a given hole is the best gross score. If you are out of a hole and elect to pick-up, record the score you most likely would have made. For example, if your partner has a par putt and you have a meaningless putt for a 7, you may pick it up and record either a 7 or 8 depending on how many putts it would have taken to finish the hole. Be honest.  This is encouraged to speed up play!
    2. Each team will have a scorecard. On the first tee, exchange scorecards with the other team and determine who will keep scores in Golf Genius.
  3. Rules for D Division:
    1. Scoring: This is a 2-Man Scramble division. Each team will have a scorecard. On the first tee, exchange scorecards with the other team and determine who will keep scores in Golf Genius. Record the gross scores for each team on each hole. The gross score will count toward team score. Both team scores count toward the team total.
    2. Scramble Rules: Both players tee off. Select the best ball, and both players hit their second shot from there. Both balls may be placed within one club length (one putter head length on the green), no nearer the hole. Balls must be played from the same type of lie as the chosen ball (rough, bunker, fairway, hazard, etc.). Continue as above, selecting the best ball each time and playing both shots from there until the ball is holed. Record the gross score in the scoring app and on the score card.
    3. You must use at least five (5) tee-shots from each player.
